How to ask
Email us from the address your account uses:
Put “Delete my account” in the subject. You do not need to give a reason.
If you ask for the account itself to go, we delete:
Two things outlive the account, and only because the law requires it or because they no longer identify you.
| What | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Payment and invoice records | As long as Canadian tax and accounting law requires — generally six years | We are legally required to keep records of money received. These are held by our payment processor and in our accounts, not in the app. |
| Counts of how many people viewed a truck | Kept | These are totals with no name, account or device attached. Once your account is gone there is nothing in them that points back to you. |
Everything else goes. We do not keep a shadow copy, and we do not sell or transfer your information to anybody before deleting it.
You can do several of these yourself, right now, in the app:
For anything else, email us and say what you want removed. Keeping the account and removing part of it is a perfectly normal request.
If you sent a photo of your mobile food vendor permit, it was deleted the moment an administrator made a decision on your application. We keep the permit number and the fact that it was checked; the image is gone already, without you having to ask.
Tell us first — we would rather fix it. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
